View menu toolbar

View Controls

  • Thumbnail View - Display events as image thumbnails in a grid layout. Ideal for visual scanning and quick incident identification.
  • List View - Display events in a compact list with timestamps, camera names, and event types. Preferred for alarm monitoring and control room operations (VMS/ARC usage).

Playback & Updates

Real-time Updates

Automatically display new events as they occur. Pauses when interactive elements are active, then resumes when closed.

Live Preview

Replaces static event thumbnails with live camera feed for active events. Shows what's happening right now instead of a captured image.

Audio Notifications

Plays sound notification when new events arrive. Useful when real-time response to new events is paramount.

Scaling Mode

Toggle between two display modes:

  • Fit - Shows complete image with borders. Keeps original aspect ratio.
  • Fill - Stretches image to fill screen. Shows more detail but may crop edges.

Layout & Display

Grid Size

Adjust the layout density:

  • Thumbnail View: Number of columns (1-4)
  • List View: Thumbnail size of events

Reset Button

Restore all view settings to their defaults. Resets view layout, grid size, and playback options.
