Setup Process
Step 1: Access Camera (Optional)
If off-site, tunnel to your camera's web interface:
Go to Cameras: Click your ANPR camera name
Click Tunnels tab: Select Open Tunnel
Access camera: Click the generated link to open web interface
Step 2: Configure Standard Cameras
Login to camera web interface and navigate to Integration Protocol section
Enable Hikvision-CGI and verify user account exists
Go to Road Traffic section and set Detection Type: Vehicle Detection + Realtime LPR Result
Save changes
Tip: Settings vary by camera model. Check manufacturer documentation if options differ.
Step 3: Configure iDS Cameras
iDS models require pointing to your TetherBox instead of being polled:
Navigate to: Network > Data Connection > Http Listening
- Older firmware: Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Alarm Server

Set these values:
- Server IP: Your TetherBox's local IP address
- Port: 80
- Absolute Path:
/api/v3/cameras/hikvision_listener - Alarm Server Mode: Hikvision
Click Save, then Test
