ANPR Whitelist with IP Relay
Automate on-site responses by whitelisting license plates to trigger IP relays for gate opening and device control.
Add Plates to Whitelist
Go to your ANPR camera page and select ANPR Plates tab
Click New ANPR Plate and enter details:
- License Plate: Number without spaces
- List Type: Whitelist or Blacklist
- Expiry: Optional - plate deactivates automatically

Note: This tab appears after your camera detects its first license plate.
Whitelisted plates trigger automation; blacklisted plates send notifications to users.
Add IP Relay Devices
Via Web Interface
- Go to Admin > Devices > New Relay Device
Enter relay device details and configure parameters
Edit your camera in Relay Devices tab and click Update
Via API
curl -vvv "https://my.timeline.is/api/v3p/relay_devices" \
--data '{"username": "admin", "password": "admin", "device_id": "61b1c85883825a03a5193bc4", "outputs_number": 3}' \
--request POST \
-H "Content-Type: application/json"
See API Documentation for full details.
How Automation Works
When a whitelisted plate is detected:
- TetherX receives detection from camera
- Matches plate against whitelist
- Automatically triggers configured relay
- Gate/device opens without manual intervention
